WildOn is excited to be joining the TitanRO server and getting to know all of you! Thanks for considering joining our little RO family. On tRO we'll be looking to enjoy all aspects of the game, from leveling, to instances (when they're out), MVPing, and also WoE. We're not the most experienced when it comes to WoE, but we're really excited to improve in that area. As a WildOn guild member you can look forward to: An insanely active Discord community A nice group of people interested in helping our members however we can Regular in-game guild events (whether that's leveling parties, questing, MVPing, battlegrounds, or our own event concoctions) A chill WoE experience where the focus will be on growing as a team and having fun We're very welcoming, but there are a couple of requirements that we have for the guild: Enough English knowledge to be able to communicate with guild members (we're very social, so this is important!) Be respectful of others, both inside and outside the guild (ain't nobody got time for no drama!!) You must be on Discord, even if you just lurk (but chatting is strongly encouraged) Thanks again for taking the time to consider joining our guild! To get a guild invite, please join our discord: https://discord.me/wildon. (On your phone? This link might work better: https://discord.gg/tnseAXZ.) Otherwise, hope to see you in-game!

Hi everyone! SideQuest would love to have you with us to enjoy TitanRO! About SideQuest as a guild: SQ was founded on iRO Restart as a social guild that does a bit of everything; we're a pretty laidback group of people who try to stay drama-free (fingers crossed) and just enjoy all aspects of the game we'll be participating in WoE, but we've never been about rosters and the like; which means any class you want to play is welcome! Additionally: if you want to join us just for PvM, that's perfectly fine as well. We do have a few requirements: a decent grasp of English, as that will be needed to communicate with everyone; we're a social bunch being respectful of other people and generally following the server's rules being social (i.e. actually talking to other members), because where's the fun in staying quiet all the time? using Discord actively and checking mentions regularly, because that's where the voice chat, guild-specific announcements and general shenanigans are happening being willing to fill out some guild spreadsheets, especially regarding WoE joining our Discord at https://discord.me/sidequest; ask for a guild invite in the appropriate channel and we'll get it sorted In turn, this is what you can expect from us: help with any questions about the game, even if you're completely new and need the basics explained a reward system for WoE/guild event attendance compulsory spreadsheets that keep track of things - if you like those, you're in the right place! lots of fun on voice chat, with guildies and other members of our Discord community the occasional digital board game or movie night with community members a generally laidback and helpful community of ~200 members who play other games you might like as well About SideQuest as a community: SideQuest is first and foremost a general gaming community on Discord, made up of a lovely little community, which we hope to expand - don't get intimidated by the amount of channels and categories, anything you don't care about you can mute and collapse Since it's not just a RO Discord, you'll be able to find people there who play a bunch of different games and have quite diverse interests, which is always fun SQ is looking forward to meeting you all ingame!

RO Buddies is a guild that was started on iRO Chaos by a group of irl friends back in the early 2000s. We played many low rate private servers over the years and made many great memories. Saegys and I have carried on the torch for the guild in recent years as an homage to the original guild leader and members, and are bringing RO Buddies back for TitanRO. We are an international guild focused on MVP/WOE and pride ourselves on coordinated team play and having fun. If you would like to join us we have a couple of requirements: Be an active player Understand English fluently (speaking not required, listening is fine) Use discord regularly Here is our discord link: https://discord.me/robuddies You can also message either Saegys or myself on the forums or in game.

EPIPHANY Good day, everyone! Just a brief background about our guild... Epiphany started out in Ragnarok Re:Start server (rip ) guild members come from all over the world and planet Mars we are a quite laid-back guild So, what is Epiphany up to? WoE: We participate in this exciting event in-game called War of Emperium. We're not the best but, we're in the process of learning more and developing our strategies Events: Our guild leader and core members try to host a few events in our discord channel. This is where members get to play some games and win some awesome stuff! MvP/PvM/ leveling: We have guild members that are keen with hunting MvPs. As for leveling, we organize parties in order to level up altogether Do you have any requirements? WoE Active - We need to get our dear guild leader-Kauzimir Putin dem castles Keeping up on our Discord channel - Our discord channel is active. Besides the fact that guild members are often fooling around in there, updates/guild announcements are always posted in our Discord. At least able to speak, even just a tiny bit, of English (we’re international here!) 🌍🌎🌏 We are very hopeful, excited, and determined about meeting new guild members and grow together as a team in Titan RO. If you have any questions, clarifications, and violent reactions, feel free to message Celestelle aka Goddess and Kauz aka Nub God on discord Celestelle#2017 Kauz#3410 *guild emblem credit: Konrad Cryptic

So it seems there are spawn timers for most of the mobs in Guild Dungeons? On most the servers I've been on before (iRO:Restart most recently) they were taken out (besides things like Maya P) or never had them in the first place. The timers themselves make leveling and EXP there feel really slow and not worth it. While I realize this is not an official server, when checking against the databases I've been more familiar with on iRO, they're all listed as instant spawns. On Restart specifically, due to community outcry on the initial launch, the GMs changed it to match Classic with instant spawns. Since there are Owl Barons in Alde GD for instance I'm guessing this is based more on Classic Spawns. Alde GD for reference http://db.irowiki.org/db/map-info/gld_dun02/ <- Renewal http://db.irowiki.org/classic/map-info/gld_dun02/ <- Classic http://db.irowiki.org/restart/map-info/gld_dun02/ <- Restart Currently the EXP is currently meh there with the current spawns, if they were changed it would make guilds fight even harder over the best castles for EXP at the end. This could create a lot more interesting fights, especially near the end of WoE since there's only 1 castle in each realm that people can get. I loved setting up and being in GD parties before, but it just feels not really worth it with how the timers and spawns currently are.

RO servers these days don't last too long, this is a product of many different factors. But the most important one is that players get bored of playing if they accomplish their goals in the game. For most of the players these goals are getting to max level and gearing up. A good example of a server not understanding this is iRO RE:Start. Leveling was insanely fast due to the cash shop items. MVPing was easy for the exact same reason. Getting high upgraded gear was a breeze because of the Enriched/HD Ores. People quickly ran out of stuff to do. The gearing up part is where the MVP loot comes in. We looked at the stronger MVPs like Randgris/Beelzebub/Bio/Satan Morroc at first and decided that their drop rates were a bit too high if we just gave them the standard 3x drop rate that we have. A lot of the gear they drop are chase luxury items and are supposed to be very rare. After that we discussed the MVPs that you're talking about, the easier ones like Garm/Phreeoni/Eddga and so on. We thought about going 3x for them at first but decided against this for the following reasons: Weapons from MVPs in Revo-Classic are way better than they were in Pre-Renewal due to the attack/matk changes, so these drops automatically became more valuable. Look at Dark Lord with Grimtooth and Evil Bone Wand for example. Stuff takes longer to farm, people will play for longer and gear up slower. We didn't want to make an elaborate list of MVP drops that we kept 1x specifically, we didn't want too many exceptions to the general rule. The best option in our opinion was to make all of the MVPs 1x.

Something I'm really missing on this server right now are fun little ingame events. They aren't just fun but also give us players something to do besides endlessly grinding or WOE. We once talked a little about events in the german part of the discord and Steph mentioned that while you guys weren't against events, that you were missing a dedicated event GM. So I thought that it might help if we players share some event ideas? Hide & Seek Event Don't think that ones needs an explanation. MVP/Mini Boss/Champion Event Simple but fun events. Just have some MVPs, Mini Bopsses and Champion monsters spawn in a selected town and have the players kill them. Survival Event Have everyone create a Novice which will then be warped to a seperate arena. There you will spawn aggressive mobs and the last Novi standing will win (several rounds can be done) Novice Race A bit like the one above. Pick either a pretty linear or a maze like map an fill it with weak aggressive mobs. Then have everyone create a Novice. The first ones reaching the other end of the map or the center of the map will win. (just have everyone that dies respawn at the entrance) Teleport event Use a map that has spots which can only be reached by using teleport. Pick one of those spots and the first player randomly warping on it will win. PVP Event (Novices) Have a bunch of newly made level 1 Novices kill each other. The last Novi standing will be the winner (several rounds can be done) PVP Event A bit like the battlegrounds. Just use an Arena and when players die have them drop tokens. After a set amount of time the player with the most tokens wins. Headgear converter An event NPC that will allow you to convert normal headgears into costumes. The NPC will remain in town for a week or so and will request both zeny and some items. EXP Event Have an NPC that will ask for a set amount of zeny to be donated till the next maint. If enough zeny get donated have raised EXP for a week. Event Monsters Have monster spawn on every map that will drop special tokens which can be traded for different items (could be different consumables, costumes, convinience/quality-of-life like items etc.) Taming Event Use special pets like Earth Deleter, Dullahan, Loli Ruri, Leaf Cat, Mao Guai, Marionette, Wanderer, Whisper, Miyabi Doll, Medusa, Teddy Bear etc. Have either one of them or a mix of different ones spawn on a map and either have them drop their own tames or have a NPC hand out taming packs (one pack per person) to the players. Have the map only be active for a set amount of time and the items expire after the event. Just re-open in every now and then with different monsters each time. Item Collection and Hide & Seek Have novices get teleported to a special map with different monsters. Then there will be an announcement for different items that everyone will have to collect. After collecting the items they will need to find the GM on the same map or on a neighbouring map to hand over the items. The first few will be the winners (or have a set amount of time and everyone that finishes in time will get a reward) Special drop event Again have players create Novices which will then be warped to a map filled with special event monsters. Those monsters will then have a low chance to drop special items (could be tokens, costume eggs, gift boxes, obbs, opbs etc.) Have the map only open for a set amount of time. Quiz Event A simple Ragnarok related quiz that can be done in the main chat. Just ask questions related to the monsters, skills or NPCs ingame. The first correct answer will win. Prices for events could be gift boxes, old blue boxes, old purple boxes, taming sets, titan tokens, costume eggs or maybe a special event costume egg with costumes which can only be obtained through events. These are just a few simple ideas for quick events that can be done on short notice. Of course you could also add event quests with an actual story behind them or maybe even NPCs that will give you a quiz/puzzle you have to solve. The possibilities are endless and I'm sure a lot of players would be happy to join events or would be willing to help coming up with even more event ideas.

I know we all have nightmares about how busted Knights were in Restart, but on every other server I've played they've been just fine. On this server, though the damage nerf is very noticeable. with a 200% damage reduction being the difference between a two shot and a three shot on a mob. I've heard the argument for nerfing bowling bash was "but we removed gutter lines". And I think I speak for all knight players in that I would rather have to use a program to see gutter lines and deal full dmg with my bowling bash then have no gutter lines and get a straight damage nerf. the fact is this, despite what any non knight player will tell you, any good knight used simple ro hook and knew where the gutter lines were. as such, gutter lines never impacted knights before anyway because we simply avoided them. all it did was mean we had to move a few cells sometimes with our mob or fly wing when we got hit locked on a gutter line. (not a big deal). Instead, we just get a nerf. nothing else. no compensation really because, again, we never were on gutter lines anyway. I propose that we just revert the bowling bash nerf and see how Knights do. If they become "OP" then we can look into them again, but right now I feel like they are pretty weak and the nerf was too pre-emptive.

So there are many cool pets available for tame in official servers that were cash grabs previously. Pets like Loli Ruri (very red juice) and Dullahan(luxury whisky bottle) don't have any drops in the game for their taming items despite being tame-able. I suggest that we allow players to buy these taming items with Titan Tokens. That way these pets are still tame-able without having to use hocus pocus. Also would be cool to have other uses for Titan tokens besides costumes.

I vote -1 for This. I dont think we need these cash shop items on This server.

Hello guys! I'm from Chile /o/ It's been a lot of time since I played RO the last time. I always left it because the servers were too slow, make me go zzzz. I really hope this server go up and make RO great again. If someone wants to talk or if there are more people who talk spanish, come here, don't be shy, we can make a build thing and do quests and all that stuff. Happy playing!

Hi guys! I'm curious what you all would think about TitanRO using Restart's exp tables rather than Classic's. For reference: https://irowiki.org/classic/Base_EXP_Chart https://restart.irowiki.org/what-is-restart/exp-tables/ Some things to note: - personally I think the balance of base/job exp for the Restart table is much better, especially for 1st job: - we have 5x rates, spotlight maps and bounty boards; the concern is that people will get to 99 too fast - we all want this server to last, so having higher exp tables than Classic will help keep people busy and engaged - for those that have played Restart and thought the table was too high, remember that it will be faster here What do you guys think?

Now that the basics are in place (including a patcher!), we're now switching to Alpha release status. The Getting Started post has been updated to include instructions for downloading and running the patcher (it's pretty simple, download it and run it in the game folder). Alpha phase will enable work on client updates that will require clients to be patched or they'll get errors. During alpha, we will also figure out a name for the server, and work on design for the forum, control panel, patcher, loading screens, etc. As well as addressing miscellaneous issues that come up, the Alpha updates will address: clothing palettes hair colors teleport level 1 instant cast (no need to press enter) random treasure chest spawns across fields guild Emergency Call cooldown icon Vending store taxes New refine UI Launching instance dungeons from menu Permanent "guide book" item Enable guild dungeon use by allied guilds WoE test room for damage vs emps, barricades, etc Fixes to navigation system Fixes to quests text I expect alpha phase to be long (at least 6 weeks), as it will take significant time to contract and implement the design assets after the server's name and overall art theme is decided.

I'm currently playing on iRO Re:Start server, but am quickly losing faith in WarpPortal's ability to successfully run a server (inability to address bots, strong cash shop items, duping issues, and others). I have experience running low rate private servers before, and am interested in starting one again, should there be enough interest. So I took the first few steps: got a server running on Hercules emulator, got a client configured, set up an anti-cheat software (Gepard Shield), and got a forum up and running!

Today's update focuses on Battlegrounds and our World Events system. Battlegrounds Happy Hour For Battlegrounds, we have added a BG Happy Hour system, to encourage people to get some BG started, at random times throughout the week. BG Happy Hour has the following details: 10% chance to trigger each hour, for 1 hour. Increases badge rewards to 125%. Minimum players to start a round reduced to 4 players from 10 players, to encourage people to join queue, and to keep them going. Battlegrounds Rewards We have added Poison Bottles and Foods to the available Battlegrounds rewards: War of Emperium bound Stat foods (+5) are 6 food items for 8 badges. War of Emperium Poison Bottles are 5 bottles for 4 badges. Titan Token badge cost has been reduced to 75 badges, from 150 badges. For our World Events that happen all weekend long, we have added two new non-combat events: Disguise Event In this event, the NPC will disguise as a random monster and the first person to say the name of the disguised monster earns 1 Titan Token. This continues until 15 successful rounds. This event takes place upstairs in the Eden Group area. Cluckers This diabolical chicken will do its best to keep its Titan Tokens away from you, but if you're lucky enough you will get 5 Titan Tokens from him. This continues until 15 Titan Tokens have been retrieved. The Cluckers event spawns downstairs at the Eden Group. Careful of explosions; be sure to have a convenient save point! The chance to successfully retrieve tokens from Cluckers is 0.93%, so you will need persistence more than anything else to succeed at this event. With the addition of these new events, the World Event system has a 40% chance to start an Invasion, 40% chance to start a Disguise Event, and 20% chance to start the Cluckers event.

TLDR AT THE BOTTOM As a player who still wants to see the server do well, I am going to leave the few suggestions I have in a more visible/structured way. I want to note I am putting these out there because suggestions are welcome and I feel without noticeable changes the server player population will literally never improve. I'll start with my mindset so you have an idea of where I am coming from. An MMO rpg is driven by its COMMUNITY primarily. You jump into an online world and escape reality. In order for that to exist it must feel real. It needs a reason to interact with others, and most important it must have others to interact with in the first place. Ragnarok, above anything else, is still an MMO and still needs a player base to function. Especially at lower rates where the game becomes essentially unplayable when there is no economy or players to buy/sell to. (which sadly, is the current state of the server whether anyone will face that fact or not. ) Every server needs casual players. Casual players make up the MAJORITY of a playerbase. The hardcore, die hards, purists, whatever you wanna call us, we only make up a small portion of the existing player base. This exists for ANY MMO rpg as if everyone was like this, then no one is like this. As such, it is very important to find a way to appeal to casual player base to attain long lasting players. TitanRO has never had problems getting new players to come in and try the server. Hell many I did meet along the way loved the server, but simply couldn't keep up. I have heard too many times something along the lines of "well that is just how RO is, we're not changing it". This is the fundamental problem with the mindset of the server right now. To the point where changing anything different from the original RO is blasphemy and just cannot be bent on. The game hasn't been in a state like this probably since the very beginning of RO. For the majority of players, there has always been some form of convenience on official servers through the cash shop. (and no, I'm not implying Titan should get a cash shop). The game is not usually this TEDIOUS. I won't even call it difficult. Tedious. It is a chore for casual players who simply want to get into the game and play. The way I see it is, people with limited time want to spend that time having as much fun as possible. With basically zero convenience features (with the exception of rodex) everything must be done by hand. This is great in theory and on paper for people want the OG ragnarok feel. It feels like an official server without all the garbage. Thats great until you realize it means there is a lot more just boring/tedious things to do that a casual player with limited time just will not want to deal with. Or rather, even if they are willing to deal with it, will probably get quickly bored as they will spend a lot of what little time they doing tedious things rather than just grinding/playing. Now that my mindset is out there, I'll go over the biggest suggestions I feel would impact long term server health while not completely sacrificing the identity of the server. Remember, I am of the belief, that some small sacrifices must be made so there is a greater appeal and a chance for the server to grow. 1.) Tool Dealer next to every Kafra in the game that holds most of the major items you can buy from npc and/or frequently used items. Pretty straight forward here. You put an npc tool dealer next to every kafra that has the majority of NPC purchaseable goods that are frequently bought. All the potions, conc/awake/berserk, holy water, green pots, blue gems, yellow gems, red gems etc. (yes I know yellow gems are not technically npc but we all know you can just convert blue > yellow so save people the time and adjust the price for yellow accordingly). The point here is to just save people time. Also, zero idea why empty bottles were removed from the server NPC when the holy water sells for 10z? Zero profit to be made by NPCing holy water with your time spent. It wasn't an issue and could literally never be an issue. Empty bottles should be available from npc and this type of specific npc as well. 2.) Weapon/Supply shops for classes in prontera so pront can become a one stop shop for people. You see this on a lot of other private servers, and its good idea I feel. Can have a bullet/cartridge NPC for gunslingers, a arrow/quiver npc for hunters, and maybe a generalist weapon npc and a generalist armor npc. This is so you don't have to go to specific towns to get your basic gear. Doesn't have to include literally everything, but a few of these (specifically for ammo based classes) can be very helpful. I feel it is helpful to include most elements in the ammo npcs if they are made as well. The key is to balance it by making sure the prices are always high enough to make it worth arrow crafting to save money still. Can include most elements except maybe immaterial/holy quivers which are usually very difficult to acquire/craft anyway. Arrow crafting will still be relevant, but players who want to save the time can use them. It also is a great zeny sink for the server. 3.) @Go town warps enabled and/or Airship Rep type npc next to every kafra. Or have Kafra have every town available to warp to that is released. I talked to this with Saegys and crew last night on my stream, but @go is not bad. Sure it can make a player who isn't purist feel dirty, but in practice it doesn't do anything besides save a little time. You aren't getting ANY in game advantage other than maybe saving some butterfly wings/zeny which are so small of a cost they should not be considered. @go can save so much time without having to walk to a kafra and helps you get straight into playing the game. The faster you can get where you want the go the faster you can play. The more time you spend playing the more fun you have. Alternatively you can just have every kafra have an airship type rep (the one in yuno) npc next to them where you can warp to any town in the game (even the one in yuno doesn't have all towns) for a zeny cost with maybe the airshp cities (hugel/einbroch/lighthalzen) having an extra cost that factors in what would be the cost of the airship. You can even not have an npc at all and just enable a warp to any town from any kafra anywhere. Either way, the point is that the server should be looking to save players times where it can. And this is admittedly smaller, but feels really good on saving time. If you are spending the majority of your time playing the game and not getting from place to place, you will be having more fun. 4.) SP Consumables available through Tool Dealer (especially the suggested one) This is more controversial as there are in game trade offs here, but the rewards out weight the downsides in my honest opinion. SP Recovery is essential for any and all classes. This means that with SP Recovery purchaseable from NPC at a reasonable to higher cost, the server has a great zeny sink and players get to spend more time using their abilities at said cost. As long as the cost is high enough to warrant thought in buying the SP Recovery, it should be fine and balanced. Granted, that is hard to find that number, but in my experience you can simply price it around what players would buy the sp items from players. maybe a bit higher as to not sully the player to player sp market. around 1500 for a grape juice maybe would be a good spot. Again, this one is more debateable but I've always been of the belief that its more fun to use your abilities and not be limited by literally having to sit down at times, and its also a good as a zeny sink long term. Straight up as well, besides the few guilds that have a ranked alchemist, grinding your own blue potions is not a viable option and with the rates as low as they are grinding sp items is usually not feasible either. couple that with a low pop and no one to buy sp items from anyway most of the time and you got a recipe for a rough time. 5.) Novice Packages for New Characters On other servers they give you packages that help you get started as a new player easily and quickly and get right into playing the game. You can have the novice academy give these out or maybe just have every player get one on creation. The way they do it is they have packages that include other packages. With the package contained inside another unable to be opened until a certain level requirement and including better and better stuff. Here are some examples of what you can include Novice (level 1) ------------------------------------------------- Rental Halter Lead(Lasts 5 hours then disappears) Equippable Experience Ring(buffs exp rate by 20%, last 5 hours) AGI/Bless Scrolls(give you level 10 agi/bless one time) maybe 5 of each. (character bound, sells to npc for 0) Intermediate (level 40) ------------------------------------------------- 75 Orange Potions (character bound, sell to npc for 0) 40 Blue Potions (same as orange potions) AGI/Bless Scrolls x 5 (same) Novice Fly Wings x 70 (same) Novice Butterfly Wings x 10 (same) and so on and so forth. You can include things like Battle Manuals or Bubble gum if you are willing to include those, but in my personal opinion, agi/bless and the halter lead/experience ring helps a player get going right away and speeds up the "getting around" process. I do like the idea of progressing and getting more packages to open as you level. Its an incentive and makes the player feel like they are progressing. On other servers they have a cash shop they include bubble gum/battle manuals along the way, but those are not necessary. But packages to help new characters would be a welcome addition. 6.) Improvements to Daily Login Rewards I also talked about this on my stream, but the rewards for daily login on here are simply not enticing enough for a player to feel like they missed out. And while its nice to see the system in place, with no improvements to the rewards it simply will not server its purpose. On other servers they make the daily rewards IP bound meaning you can't get them on multiple accounts but only one. And with their progression system you want to get them on the same account instead of just logging into any old accounts. (it progresses based on the account not your IP despite being IP restricted.) so you always get it on the same account every day. They put a rule in place that those who try to circumvent the system and get more than one daily reward will be punished. I understand the player pop on titan is low and banning/punishing a player is a slippery slope, but I don't forsee abuse being as big of an issue as you think it is. There are also some restrictions that will help abuse anyway. The key I noticed is to make the items account bound. With no ability to put them in guild storage, or vend them or trade them to other players. Or even drop them. Here are examples of enticing rewards I think that would be fun. Keep in mind the idea here is to make the rewards progressively better. BASE LOGIN = Every day get one Titan Coin. (10 Titan Coins = 1 Titan Token exchangeable at NPC) Bonus Rewards progressing each day Day 1 = 5 Blessing or AGI Scrolls Day 2 = 5 Titan Coins (in addition to the daily one) Day 3 = 25 Dead Branches Day 4 = Yggdrasil Berry Day 5 = Mini Battle Manual (lasts 30 minutes, increase exp by 25%) Day 6 = Stat Food Box (gives 1 random +10 stat food when opened) Day 7 = Bloody Branch Day 8 = Kafra Card (opens storage from anywhere, only way to obtain one) Day 9 = Mini Bubble Gum (lasts 30 minutes, increases drop rate by 25%) Day 10 = Ori or Elu box (gives 5 Ori or Elu randomly) Day 11 = 10 Blessing or AGI Scrolls Day 12 = 1 Titan Token (in addition to daily) Day 13 = 50 Dead Branches Day 14 = 3 Yggdrasil Berries Day 15 = Battle Manual (lasts 30 minutes, increases exp by 50%) Day 16 = Stat Food Box Day 17 = Bloody Branch x 2 Day 18 = Kafra Card x 2 Day 19 = Bubble Gum (lasts 30 minutes, increases drop rate by 50%) Day 20 = Ori or Elu Box (gives 5 ori or elu randomly) Day 21 =24 Hour Rental Halter Lead Day 22= 24 Hour Beelzebub Wing (infinite Fly wing use, weights 1) Day 23= 2 Titan Tokens (in addition to daily) Day 24= HE Battle Manual (+100% exp, lasts 15 minutes) Day 25= HE Bubble Gum (+75% drop rate, lasts 15 minutes) (side note, chose 75% as to not increase mvp card drop rate. 100% would effectively double chance at mvp card) Day 26 = 3 Titan Tokens Day 27 = Stat Food Box x 2 Day 28 = Bloody Branch x 3 Day 29 = Old Card Album Day 30 = Special Costume Box (contains the most popular carefully selected costumes that are EXCLUSIVE to this box, rewards loyalty to the server) Day 31 = Titan Mystery Box (contains a random item(from dailies), with very small chance to include a rare exclusive item like a permanent halter lead or 1 gym pass ) Day 32 = Golden Thief Bug Card (just kidding, wanted to check if you were paying attention ;]) Resets after 31 I understand gum/manuals are frowned upon on here, but without a cash shop and only available through daily login, this really gives you a reason to login and makes it feel special. Think about it, You get your rare item that you can only get because you were loyal to the server and you gotta use it carefully because you cannot acquire another for at least another week or so. I also made it noticeable to nerf the gum/manuals as opposed to official servers since the rates are already higher on Titan. 7.) Implement Halter leads in some capacity. If you haven't already seen by my suggestion, Halter leads are good for the game I feel. they give every class the ability to get around quicker which simply feels good. Some will say it takes away from Peco classes, but I feel that's not really the case. Peco classes can attack and use abilities while mounted and halter leads have cooldowns upon mountin/dismounting in addition to not being able to attack/use abilities. In my suggestions I have Halter leads available only through novice package at level 1 (and only lasting 5 hours) and through daily login rewards with a permanent one only attainable by luck in the final day of loyalty. Halter leads are fun though and I don't think they break the game, they just speed up the ability to zoom around. 8.) AGI Up NPC in front of Criartura Academy Small quality of life here, just an npc you can click on that gives you agi up in izlude to help novices do their quests faster. The first time you do the academy you will definitely do it slower and its easy to lose your agi (many of the npcs already give you agi) while trying to read the guide. this will help new players get through the tutorial much faster. TLDR = Tool Dealer npc next to every kafra that includes most frequently bought items, weapon/ammo supply shop npcs in pront for one stop shop, @go enabled and/or enable warp to anywhere from any kafra or implement npc that does same thing, SP consumables purchaseable from npc, novice packages for new players/characters, vast improvements to daily login rewards, implement halter leads in some way, agi up npc to help novices in criartura academy.

Increase rate a little maybe? Things are so expensive that i have to hunt them myself, but grinding 10h/day for a week to get a card is just insane..

I agree a lot, especially with 4.) More Fun zeny Sinks. As for increasing the rate... I think the best would be: - All server 5x drop. - MVP 3x drop. Maybe for like... 3 months or something. And then we see what happens. I think most of the problems of the server relies on low pop. Increasing the rates and bringing the trans asap would bring more (and loyal) people to the server and heat up the market. Once you've done it, lower the rates to what it was before (although I think the MVP drops, hydra card, oridecon, etc should all be 3x).

There are some rewards I've just found out in battlegrounds that are simply too good and should either not be there at all, or have significantly more cost associated with them in battlegrounds. Glistening Coats, should definitely have a much higher coast associated with them then 8 badges which is apparently 1-2 runs of battlegrounds win or lose. This means any guild can EASILY stock up and invalidate strippers/stripping weapons right off the bat with no cost associated with it. I also suggest that bottle grenades/acid bottles be removed when the transcendant update comes. One of the balancing levers of Bio Chems is that their is supposed to be a high cost associated with the ability. In exchange for high dps, burst dmg, range...(oh wait this ability is broken) you use annoying to farm mats to cast the ability. By having these in battle grounds not only will Bio Chems be meta(they already will be without this) they will dominate. There will be no cost associated with the ability and they can have their easy to get woe supplies and save the hard to get stuff for MVPing. Either way, part of the game balancing is that the abilities have cost associated with them. And yes, we do need good rewards for battlegrounds, but the mats for these abilities should not be a part of them. I personally think the woe pots are enough. that alone is enough incentive to play the mode.

Newcomer to the server, but have been playing RO off and on since closed beta. Just thought I'd offer a few suggestions: 1. MVP Weekend (or specified days/dates): raise the rates on those days to vitalize the economy without having to worry about a large influx of the items that'll lead to market instability. This will also spur the population and competition for these hunts, which could lead to more player/guild activities. A foreseeable issue would be the lack of interest on the days with base rates (although this may garner interest from players trying to avoid competing for the MVP). 2. Ascending rates: This would take some hardcoding or editing from an admin, but you could gradually increase the rates on the unhunted MVPs (to a specified max rate), until they are hunted and dropped back to the regular rate. 3. Party bonus rate: Again, this would take hardcoding, but it would be nice to encourage a large party MVP hunting by raising the rates for MVP kills by a large party. I could see a few ways of accomplishing this via coding, but I've never looked into what language these emulators are developed in so I'm unsure of its capabilities. 4. MVP/Mini-boss only Bubble Gum: A (non)tradable item that can be obtained via quest that will raise the drop rates for bosses and mini bosses only. Could also hold events to offer these as well. 5. Community driven raised rates: Either through events, logins, votes, participation (PvM, WoE, etc.), statistics (total kills, deaths, play time, etc) or otherwise that will reward us with a temporary increase in rates for a specified duration. This both indirectly and directly could help grow the active player base and increase the popularity of the server. In terms of an opinion, I think there are valid points on both sides. A higher rate would help perpetuate the economy and allow for more players to get involved in buying/selling. On the flip side, too high of a rate would introduce too many copies and could potentially flood the market. It would definitely require some market analysis (i.e.- if MVP farmed at every min/max spawn time * current/raised drop rate * 30 day period = how many potential copies). I'm glad to see that amidst the controversy, there are some strong arguments for both cases. Ultimately, it's up to the server owner(s) and what they envision for their project.

I do enjoy rates as low as 5/5/3 and I knew what I was signing for when I started playing: if the server is not able to reach a critical mass of players to have a healthy economy and competition, my friends and I will go play elsewhere. What you seem to struggle to understand is that everything in a game works in systems and if one aspect (be it PvM, PvP, MvP, leveling, class balance, drop) happens to be defective, the whole system stop to function correctly. The 1x drop rate of MvP loots is fine if there are people killing bosses regularly and if they can sell what they get to other players. Currently we have very few people killing the very easy MvPs while the rest are almost never killed. The too rare MvP loots don't end up in shops since they are too much needed to gear your own characters, or future characters. The things you don't need eventually reach a shop, but always grossly overpriced. What will happen when real MvPs (the one not easily solo/duoable) comes in? Who will try to kill Randgris or Sniper Cécil, Satan Morroc, Beelzebub with such low chances to get a single valuable item when it cost a lot of time and effort? I remember I too, when I was 14, enjoyed to be the king of dead servers with very low population and rubbing high-end stuff in front of people's nose an calling them noobs for not being as devoted as me to the game. Then I grew up and realized I had spent 12 hours a day for months for nothing since I had no way to enjoy my hard earned stuff because nobody played PvP nor WoE... To continue on a personal note, Cool But Angry has 6 active players for the moment, all of us are leveling and gearing several WoE characters alongside our personal mains for our 10+ friends (playing elsewhere or other games) to come play with us. Imagine the amount of items we need before each is WoE-ready and then compare what is available in shops right now. It really change the perspective when you start reasoning as a guild and look at the bigger picture, beyond your personal "I can play 10h a day so I'm fine"-case. Every serious guild is doing the same right now and are in the same position, it will take ages before we can attract more players at this rates. Welcome to the age of pampered guest-players. This is right on topic, the rates of MvP drops cannot be discussed outside of the context of the current state of the server.

I didn’t really address your topic because there’s nothing worth discussing. This is just a complaint thread that a bad player is struggling to make money while spamming consumables on MVPs. What a shocker. The rest of us making money from MVPs (playing monk) don’t need to make threads because we’re just playing the game and being smart. If you had made a thread asking for advice because you were struggling, people would be a lot less apprehensive, and I might have showed you a few tips. But instead, you think the system is heavily flawed because YOU are struggling. It’s hard to have a decent conversation about game balance when you clearly know so little about this game. If you actually believe this server “literally went out of its way to ruin” things then this probably isn’t the server for you. You seem to be pretty fond of the rates/population on Origins though.

We are looking to recruit 4 volunteer ingame moderators for #main and other chat channels. We are looking to initially have 4 moderators across a variety of different timezones to help keep #main a positive or neutral space to chat. The moderators won't have a GM character, but will be promoted in Discord to a moderator group with access to a channel where they can chat with other moderators. Ideally they can resolve issues by talking to players who are being out of control or breaking the Social rules of the server (since that's what the GM does anyways). If issues escalate, they can /savechat conversations and we can handle longer term solutions (removal of privileges) as needed. If you're interested, please message Trojal in forums or in Discord that you're interested, and what timezone you're in.

In consideration of the longevity of the server and so that we can add more bounty boards over time, we will be changing the bounty boards in maintenance #3 on Thursday June 7th: Fewer kills per turn in: lower level bounty boards especially make more sense with fewer kills, to avoid wasting the exp rewards, with max 1 level gain per turn in. makes multiclient/autofollow players spend more time traveling to and from the boards compared to before. Spotlight monster bounties will grant experience on their base, not spotlighted experience. as we unlock new dungeons, monsters, and bounty boards to the server, we want to keep the experience gain to a reasonable level. Adjusting exp reward to compensate for the lower turn in rate.

Maintenance #2 addresses the following issues: Fixed Moved Monster Taming NPC location in Izlude. Fixed marriage: Tuxedo can be equipped. Supernovice can wear Wedding Dress. Change Spotlights to a 3-day rotation. Titan Guide's [Current Events] now shows when spotlights will change. Added Lutie Kafra with Storage. Removed Juperos monsters from Juno Bounty Board. Made Criatura Hat non-refinable. Fixed Novice Poring Card + Criatura Hat combo. Updated Gepard to work better with Wine for Mac/linux users. Fixed Concentration Potion; was giving same ASPD as Awakening. Medicine Bowl price has been corrected (lowered). Hunter Job Change Quest item sets have been corrected. Geek Glasses now sold in Alberta.

Hi all, I'm the person in question that got wineskin to work. Here's a guide I wrote: http://wiki.titanro.net/view/Playing_On_Mac Hope that helps others. The biggest takeaways for me were to DOWNGRADE the engine to 1.7.55 and using the 'No Splash' file linked in that wiki.

Hi all, I have some mediocre news for those of you who are excited about Eden group equipment quests. We want to implement them, but after trans classes. The items rewarded from the eden group quests are pretty strong compared to what you can normally buy ingame. So we'd like to implement it after trans classes, as a future way to help people gear new characters or catch up to the established ones. We want the server to last, so we don't want people to have too easy of a time to get great gear, sorry.

Hi guys, Vaahn here. You'd know my chars by their complete names. I'm a die hard magic user so pretty much every char I make will be more or less magic based. Though sometimes I like other routes when it catches my attention. I hailed first from PRO (the old one) which was moved to IRO thor?(not really sure about this) But didnt manage to move my chars so theyre all gone (was playing Dragon Nest at that time), then moved to ROPH which sucks bigtime in pretty much everything, took me months to just get my main to 99. Then tried restart, I liked it here a lot so i didnt think twice about moving. Then the EU ban happened. sad life. I'll look forward to meeting new and previous people from restart. :3
