  1. In testing on my GM with tokens, the resurrection button doesn't trigger the self-res.

  4. Is TitanRO renewal, pre-renewal, or a mix? TitanRO is revo-classic, a mix of pre-renewal and renewal. Revo-classic uses mostly renewal mechanics with pre-renewal experience, levels and quests. What are the rates? 5x Experience (base, job, and quests). Drop rates use a unique formula, but is 3x. What classes are available? 2-1, 2-2, and Supernovice jobs will be available at launch. Is there an anti cheat? TitanRO uses GepardShield anticheat. What will the WoE schedule be and how many castles will be open? We will have our first WoE 1 the weekend of July 6 - July 8, likely with 4 castles (1 per zone) or 5 castles (single zone). The WoE days and times are still undetermined. Are there donation items? No. What is the server location? The server is located in Central US. You can ping to test latency. When did TitanRO launch? We launched on May 25th, 2018. When will the other classes release? What is the content release schedule? To be determined later, honestly. The main goal of disabling transcendent classes at launch is to keep the average guilds able to compete with the strongest guild. If the server average is hitting max level quickly, transcendent will be available sooner rather than later. Ninja and Gunslinger will probably be available before transcendent classes, and Taekwon and Linker should be available after transcendent classes get some WoEs without soul link.
  5. Stat resets. Yay? Ugh? Providing stat resets makes it easier to level those leech-dependent characters like pure forgers/brewers... but is that a good thing or a bad thing? I'm leaning towards one of two options: Limited stat resets per character (something like 3 resets per character) Limited stat resets per amount of time (one reset per 2 weeks) What are your thoughts?
  6. Yeah, this current attackspeed formula makes it much harder to get higher attack speed, and even awakening potions don't do much unless the character has high agi. It's using the kRO renewal attack speed formula instead of the iRO renewal attack speed formula, which ends up with quite a bit lower attackspeed. I'm not sure where to find the best explanation of kRO's attack speed formula, but at least here's a page with the formula and some example builds. Compared to the iRO formula.
  7. MvPs are supposed to be in mob of the week, but slave mobs shouldn't be. The code was looking for mobs that have a normal spawn, but Kiel Hyre quest has slave Alizas spawning by themselves in Kiel's room. I updated this so that monsters that give 0 exp won't show up in mob of the week lists.

  10. I wonder if this is just because of wine. @Shiro Yusuke could you try with different resolutions and is it consistent? You can change resolution in Game Settings -> Advanced Settings.
  11. Enabled the custom battlegrounds from Update #11. There's a patch to support these. Teleport level 1 now works instantly without bringing up a menu, like fly wings. Level 2 still brings up the 3-item menu of random location, save point, or cancel. Also I should mention, I enabled @skreset (skill reset) and @streset (stat reset) to make things easier while we're still pre-release.
  12. Added 548 custom clothing dyes to the client in today's patch. Also added the @dye command for people to try them out for now. Some classes/numbers will show as black, this is a known issue which will be addressed by a future client .exe version (after we settle on a server name). The specific palettes might change before full launch. Today's patch fixes a error message in the client when fighting some MvPs. Phreeoni, Baphomet, probably others.. were causing a "GetSkillScale: attempt to call a nil value" error when using large area skills.
  13. Now that the basics are in place (including a patcher!), we're now switching to Alpha release status. The Getting Started post has been updated to include instructions for downloading and running the patcher (it's pretty simple, download it and run it in the game folder). Alpha phase will enable work on client updates that will require clients to be patched or they'll get errors. During alpha, we will also figure out a name for the server, and work on design for the forum, control panel, patcher, loading screens, etc. As well as addressing miscellaneous issues that come up, the Alpha updates will address: clothing palettes hair colors teleport level 1 instant cast (no need to press enter) random treasure chest spawns across fields guild Emergency Call cooldown icon Vending store taxes New refine UI Launching instance dungeons from menu Permanent "guide book" item Enable guild dungeon use by allied guilds WoE test room for damage vs emps, barricades, etc Fixes to navigation system Fixes to quests text I expect alpha phase to be long (at least 6 weeks), as it will take significant time to contract and implement the design assets after the server's name and overall art theme is decided.
  14. I haven't checked, but I'm guessing based on how I wrote it that @guildhp will let you see the HP bars of other people with no guild, if you're not in a guild.
  15. Implemented @guildhp command, allowing you to see guild members' HP bars outside of party. If they're on the opposing team in a battleground you won't be able to see their HP. Still needs a little testing to make sure the HP bars update at correct times (similar to how party member HP bars update, ideally). Implemented a patcher so that I can start making client updates (custom items, descriptions, fixing quest text, etc).
  16. The item and monster databases are now visible in control panel. Here you can check item effects, scripts, drop rates, monster stats, skills. The drop rate uses the same logarithmic formula as in-game, which is based on "2x" meaning "2 chances to drop the item". I'll have to check in this more, because I might need to move the fixed time to variable time for some skills. But for now, enjoy faster casts!

  19. Added champion mob spawns. These are tougher versions of the normal monsters and offer more experience. They currently have the same drops as their normal counterparts, but they will later have increased drop rates, or drop event items. All types: 2.5x base exp 9x job exp 5x hp 1.5x to 2x damage Swift: +25% move speed Solid: 10x hp instead, -20% move speed Ringleader: Summons 2 copies of its normal mob Furious: Faster aspd Elusive: No special modifications Updated the mob database. Now mobs are using DEF/MDEF and base stats from renewal (continuing to use drops, exp, hp, level from pre-renewal).
  20. Emperium has been updated to take 1 damage per hit. Updated the HP bar for monsters so it no longer shows for "Boss" category monsters (emperium included) Adjusted how drop rates are increased, now they're based on getting extra drop chances rather than a straight multiplication. Fewer drops will be "100%" and will rather be higher. Still at 25x drops currently (not launching with 25x) it looks very high on a number of items. Disabled the mailboxes around towns. Reset the played time tracker because I fixed a bug in the script. Take 2!
  21. Roughly this (from XileRO website): Capture the Flag The objective is to score 3 points before your enemy team, by capture the flag. To capture a flag you need to take the enemy flag and bring it to your base flag. Team DeathMatch This game is pure pvp. Each team start up with 30 Points and score goes down as your team member die. Team to reach 0 points lose Stone Control Take the stones in the middle of the battlefield and put in on your base, in the Stone Points. Each stone will give points to your team. First team to reach 99 points wins. Protect your stones and don't let your enemy steal them Eye of Storm There are 2 bases: North and south which team can capture by holding position on the base more than the other team Each base will give you points each 5 seconds. If your team control both bases the amount of points increases To get additional points, in the middle there is a flag spawn, capture it and put it on any of your team bases. The team to score 99 first wins. [TIP]: It is faster to take the flag if you un-equip your infravision. Bossnia Attack the enemy base and destroy each guardian. To do damage to the guardian your team must capture the balance flag in the middle base. Each team have 5 guardian to be protected or killed. Domination: The mechanic of this game is close to Eye of storm Your team need to capture the bases by holding the position on one of the 3 bases for some seconds, your scores go higher as you have more bases taken. The team to reach 99 points wins Rush Figh to capture the Castle and organize your team to defend it. If you fail on the first capture, kill the defender and take it for your team.
  22. Added hunting boards based on iRO. They can be found in Comodo, Geffen, Hugel, Juno, Lighthalzen, Payon, Prontera, and Umbala. They should show up as a + on your minimap. For killing 150 of a monster, you gain extra experience equal to 112.5 kills (75%) of that monster. There are a LOT of monsters available. Possibly too many, although you can at least accept all of the quests at once, and turn them all in at once. Also set up the eAmod custom Battlegrounds but it's disabled for now because it requires updated maps on the client, and I don't want people to get stuck/crash. So we'll all have to wait until Alpha release, when there's a proper patcher with the client.
